January 6, 2005 : BART Police Department select mBizMap for mobile deployment
The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit Police Department have selected mBiztech as the vendor of choice to provide their BlackBerry mapping solution. The solution, based on mBiztech's mBizMap product, will enable members of the BART police to access critical location based information while responding to incidents.

"The ability to dynamically access and display information such as nearest medical center, closest police station and emergency exits from their BlackBerry handhelds will be enable the BART officers to respond to emergencies more efficiently, protecting Bay Area citizens with fewer resources", said Carissa Goldner, administrator of the Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System at the BART Police Department.

Access to backend Location Based Services, provided by MapInfo's suite of server software, is enabled using mBiztech's Bridged Server Technology (BST) embedded in the mBizMap solution. mBiztech's BST enables fast and efficient access to Enterprise Services such as map rendering, geocoding and routing from mobile handheld devices.

September 21, 2004 : Introducing mForms for BlackBerry
mBiztech today announced the first public release of mForms for BlackBerry. mBiztech Corp. today delivered to MapInfo Corporation MapinHand(TM) 1.1 for PalmOS. The new version of the product provides features such as interruptible wireless downloads as well as a rendering performance increase of up to five times the previous version. MapinHand is available for sale through MapInfo Corporation and partner channel.

September 18, 2000 : mBiztech launch MapinHand
mBiztech Corp. today delivered to MapInfo Corporation the first product developed under the licensing agreement signed in April. The product, being sold by MapInfo under the brand name "MapinHand"(TM), is a Field Asset Management solution designed for the mobile worker. The product allows the user to access and update critical information while in the field via a wireless PDA. Data can be accessed seamlessly from an Enterprise Database across a wireless network connection, or from a locally saved database.

July 10, 2000 : mBiztech new executive sales VP
Jim Brown today joined mBiztech Corp as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing. Jim brings with him over 16 years experience working in sales, including ten years in the commercial real estate field. Previous employers include Enterprise Property Group, Bramalea Limited and Cadillac Fairview.
