forms-based data capture applications for BlackBerry
mBizForms for BlackBerry is an out-of-the-box solution that
provides the ability to create custom electronic forms for
data capture. Within a few hours the mBizForms solution can
be deployed, custom forms created and pushed out wirelessly
to specific BlackBerry handhelds. Users can then capture
information, such as customer prospect information, work
reports and time sheets, using the form templates. When
uploaded, the captured information is automatically inserted
directly into a database. No paper forms, no data re-entry,
no integration costs - no hassle.
The mBizForms solution comes with all the tools required to
build and deploy forms-based applications. This includes
the mBizForms Editor, an easy to use application that guides
the administrator through the process of creating and managing
application forms.
Database Integration : The mBizForms solution
integrates directly into enterprise data systems, such as
Lotus Domino, Oracle, SQLServer, DB2 and MS Access. Information
captured by BlackBerry users is wirelessly uploaded and
inserted into the underlying database system without any
expensive integration and customization costs.
Forms Layout Tool: The mBizForms Editor enables
the administrator to control how their forms will look on
the BlackBerry handheld. Forms can be designed across multiple
pages. Each page can incorporate fields such as, Combo Boxes,
Check Boxes, Radio Groups, Text Fields, Separators and Labels.
Forms Simulator : As forms are being design,
the Forms Simulator can be used to show how the forms will
be displayed on a BlackBerry handheld. This helps greatly
speed up the design and deployment progress.
BES & Non-BES Deployment: The mBizForms
solution provides a flexible deployment structure which
enables it to function in both a BES and non-BES environment.
Over The Air Deployment: The mBizForms Client
can be loaded wirelessly Over The Air, or using the BlackBerry
Desktop Manager.
mBizForms Client : The mBizForms BlackBerry
Client provides a user friendly interface allowing users
to easily navigate forrms and records on their handhelds.
